Terms of Use for Docs & PDF Editor

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Docs & PDF Editor mobile application (the “App”), which is operated by EEB Consultancy LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”).

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. The App

Docs & PDF Editor is a mobile productivity application that enables users to create, edit, scan, convert, organize, and manage documents, spreadsheets, presentations, PDF files, and related content directly on their device.

These Terms govern your use of the App and any features, content, functionality, or updates we make available through it.

2. Eligibility and Acceptance

You may use the App only if you are legally permitted to do so under applicable law.

By using the App, you represent and warrant that:

• you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement,
• you will use the App only in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms,
• and you will not use the App for any unlawful, fraudulent, infringing, abusive, or harmful purpose.

If you are using the App on behalf of a business or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

3. License to Use the App

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App for your personal, business, and general document productivity purposes, including creating, editing, scanning, converting, organizing, and managing supported files through the App.

This license is granted solely for lawful use of the App in accordance with these Terms and any applicable App Store rules or platform requirements.

You may not:

• copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App except as expressly permitted by applicable law,
• reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, attempt to derive source code from, or otherwise interfere with the App, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by law,
• remove or alter proprietary notices, branding, or legal notices included in the App,
• use the App in a manner that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair the App or related systems,
• use the App to violate the rights of others, including privacy, intellectual property, or contractual rights.

All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by EEB Consultancy LLC.

4. User Content and Ownership

The App may allow you to create, import, edit, store, scan, convert, organize, export, and manage files and content such as documents, spreadsheets, presentations, PDFs, images, and related materials (“User Content”).

You retain ownership of your User Content. We do not claim ownership of the files, documents, or other content you create, import, edit, scan, convert, or manage through the App.

However, you are solely responsible for your User Content and for ensuring that you have all necessary rights, permissions, and legal authority to:

• create, import, edit, scan, convert, store, use, export, share, or otherwise manage that content,
• process content through the App,
• and distribute or share content where you choose to do so.

You agree not to use the App to store, process, or distribute content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, fraudulent, abusive, harmful, or otherwise prohibited by applicable law.

5. Local Processing and File Handling

The App is designed as a local, on-device productivity app. Its core features are intended to operate primarily on your device.

You acknowledge that:

• files created, edited, scanned, converted, or managed through the App may be stored locally within the App’s storage environment on your device,
• the App may maintain file organization information, recent-file information, and related metadata in order to provide its file-management functionality,
• and you are responsible for reviewing, managing, backing up, exporting, or deleting your own files as appropriate for your use.

We are not responsible for loss of files resulting from device issues, accidental deletion, third-party storage behavior, operating system behavior, backup failures, or misuse of the App.

6. Permissions and Device Access

Certain features of the App may require access to device capabilities or content areas, including:

• Camera access for scanning documents or capturing content,
• Photos access for importing images or supported content and, where applicable, saving exported output,
• Files / document picker access for importing supported files from locations available through iOS or supported storage providers.

You may choose whether to grant these permissions, but some features of the App may not function properly without the relevant access.

7. Updates, Features, and Availability

We may update, improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the App at any time, with or without notice, to the extent permitted by law.

We do not guarantee that any particular feature, file format support, workflow, or tool will remain available permanently.

We may also release bug fixes, feature updates, interface changes, compatibility updates, or performance improvements from time to time.

8. No Guarantee of Error-Free Operation

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we make no warranties, representations, or guarantees of any kind, express or implied, regarding the App, including any implied warranties of:

• merchantability,
• fitness for a particular purpose,
• non-infringement,
• availability,
• compatibility,
• security,
• accuracy,
• or uninterrupted, error-free operation.

We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, free from bugs, free from data loss risk, or compatible with every device, operating system version, file type, workflow, or user need.

9. Your Responsibility for Backups and Important Files

You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of any important files, documents, spreadsheets, presentations, PDFs, scans, exports, or other content processed through the App.

Although the App is designed to help users create and manage files locally, we do not guarantee that any file, edit, conversion result, or scan will be preserved without interruption, corruption, accidental deletion, device failure, storage issues, or other technical problems.

If a file or workflow is important to you, you should maintain your own independent backup copies.

10. Third-Party Services and File Destinations

The App may allow you to share, export, print, open, or send files using Apple system services or third-party apps, storage providers, or other destinations that you choose to use.

We do not control and are not responsible for:

• the availability, security, privacy practices, or performance of third-party apps, storage providers, or file destinations,
• how third parties handle files or content after you choose to share, export, upload, or send them outside the App,
• or any data loss, security incident, or other issue arising from third-party services you choose to use.

Your use of third-party services is governed by the terms and privacy policies of those third parties.

11. Acceptable Use Restrictions

You agree not to use the App:

• in violation of any law, regulation, court order, or third-party right,
• to infringe intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or contractual rights,
• to process or distribute malicious code, harmful files, or unlawful content,
• to attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts, networks, or data,
• to interfere with the App’s operation, security, or integrity,
• or in any way that could expose us or other users to legal liability or harm.

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the App if we reasonably believe you are using it in violation of these Terms or applicable law.

12. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, interface, code, features, branding, trademarks, logos, and all related intellectual property rights (excluding User Content), is owned by or licensed to EEB Consultancy LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property and other laws.

These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the App or our intellectual property, except for the limited license expressly stated above.

13. Termination

These Terms remain in effect until terminated.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App or your license to use it at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe that:

• you have violated these Terms,
• your use of the App creates legal, security, or operational risk,
• or termination is otherwise necessary to protect us, the App, or others.

You may stop using the App at any time. Termination of your right to use the App does not affect any provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing provisions.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EEB Consultancy LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensors, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data, files, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to:

• your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the App,
• file corruption, file loss, deletion, failed conversion, failed scan, failed export, or editing errors,
• device failure, storage failure, operating system behavior, or third-party service behavior,
• unauthorized access, bugs, interruptions, errors, or security incidents,
• or any content or materials processed through the App.

To the extent any liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless EEB Consultancy LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

• your use of the App,
• your User Content,
• your violation of these Terms,
• or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the App, legal requirements, or our business practices.

If we update these Terms, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

17. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable to EEB Consultancy LLC, without regard to conflict of law principles, except to the extent otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection laws that apply in your jurisdiction.
