Privacy Policy for Docs & PDF Editor

This Privacy Policy explains how EEB Consultancy LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) handles information in connection with the Docs & PDF Editor mobile application (the “App”).
Docs & PDF Editor is a mobile productivity app that allows users to create, edit, scan, convert, organize, and manage documents, spreadsheets, presentations, PDF files, and related content directly on their device.
By using the App, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Scope of This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how the App handles information when you use it, including:
- the content and information the App may access to provide its features,
- how files and related content are processed within the App,
- the permissions the App may request,
- and how you can contact us with privacy-related questions.
The App is designed as a local, on-device productivity app. It does not require account registration or sign-in to use its core functionality.
2. How the App Works
The App provides tools for working with office-style files and related content, including:
- creating and editing text documents,
- creating and editing spreadsheets,
- creating and editing presentations,
- opening, viewing, and managing PDF files,
- scanning documents,
- converting supported file types,
- organizing and managing files within the App.
The App is designed so that its core editing, scanning, conversion, and file-management functions operate primarily on your device.
3. Information and Content Handled by the App
Depending on how you use the App, it may access, process, or store content such as:
- documents, notes, and other text-based content you create or edit,
- spreadsheet data and workbook content,
- presentation content and slide-based files,
- PDF files you open, edit, scan, convert, or manage,
- images or files you import through the Photos library or the iOS file picker,
- scanned content captured through the App’s scanning features,
- file names, file organization data, and related metadata used to display, sort, reopen, or manage files within the App.
This information and content is handled solely to provide the functionality of the App.
4. On-Device Processing
The App is designed so that its core features are processed locally on your device.
In ordinary use of the App:
- files you create or edit are processed locally on your device,
- scanned documents are processed locally within the App,
- conversion and file-management actions are intended to take place locally within the App environment,
- and the App does not require you to upload your files to our servers in order to use its core editing, scanning, conversion, or file-management features.
The App does not currently require an online account for its core functionality.
5. Permissions the App May Request
To provide specific features, the App may request access to certain device capabilities or content areas. These permissions are used only for the corresponding user-initiated features of the App.
Camera Access
The App may request access to your device’s camera so you can scan paper documents or capture content for PDF scanning and related features.
Photos Access
The App may request access to your Photos library so you can import images or supported content into the App and, where applicable, save exported output.
Files / Document Picker Access
The App may use Apple’s document picker and related file access features so you can import supported files from locations made available through your device or supported storage providers connected through iOS.
The App does not request microphone access as part of its current functionality.
6. No Account Registration
The App does not require you to create an account or sign in to use its core functionality.
Because the App does not currently rely on an account system for its core use cases:
- it does not require a username or password to create and edit files locally,
- it does not provide account-based cloud storage as part of its core functionality,
- and files created or managed in the App are not associated with an online user account maintained by us.
7. Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking
As of the date of this Privacy Policy, the App does not include third-party advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or third-party crash reporting tools as part of its current functionality.
We do not use the App to intentionally collect personal information for:
- targeted advertising,
- cross-app tracking,
- third-party behavioral analytics,
- or advertising profile creation.
If our data practices materially change in a future version of the App, we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly.
8. File Storage and File Management
The App may store and manage files locally within its storage environment on your device in order to support features such as:
- recent files,
- file organization,
- file restoration or deletion flows,
- imported files,
- scanned documents,
- converted files,
- and other file-management functions provided by the App.
Because the App is designed for local file handling, you are responsible for your device, any backups you choose to maintain, and any files you choose to export, share, duplicate, or store elsewhere.
9. Sharing and Exporting Content
The App may allow you to share, export, print, duplicate, or otherwise manage files using Apple’s system features or other user-initiated actions available in the App.
If you choose to send, share, upload, export, or store content using another app, storage provider, or third-party service, the handling of that content will be governed by the privacy practices and terms of the destination service you choose to use.
We are not responsible for the privacy, security, or data handling practices of third-party apps, storage providers, or services that you choose to use outside the App.
10. Data Retention
Because the App is designed to operate locally on your device, retention of files and related content is generally determined by your own use of the App and your device environment.
Content may remain stored within the App until you delete it, remove the App, export it, or otherwise manage it through the App’s file tools or your device’s storage behavior.
We do not currently maintain account-based user document storage on our own servers as part of the App’s core functionality.
11. Data Security
We take reasonable steps in designing the App to support local file handling and user-controlled content management. However, no software, device, transmission method, or storage environment can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for protecting access to your device, maintaining any backups you consider necessary, and using caution when sharing or exporting sensitive content.
12. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through an account system, advertising system, or analytics platform in connection with the App.

13. International Users
If you use the App from outside the jurisdiction in which EEB Consultancy LLC operates, please note that the App’s core functionality is designed to run locally on your device. If you contact us directly, any information you choose to send to us may be processed in the jurisdiction where we receive and manage such communications.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App, legal requirements, or our business practices. If we make updates, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
Your continued use of the App after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy to the extent permitted by applicable law.
