These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Home Lab AI iOS app ("Home Lab AI", "the app", "the Service"), provided by EEB CONSULTANCY LLC ("we", "us"). By using the app, you agree to these Terms. Where you obtained the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies to your license to use the app; these Terms supplement it with product- and service-specific terms Apple's EULA does not cover, and do not replace it.
1. The service
Home Lab AI lets you photograph or select a photo of a room and receive AI-generated interior design suggestions and redesigned images, generated using Google's Gemini API via our backend.
2. AI-generated content — no guarantee of accuracy or fitness
Generated designs are produced by an AI model and are provided for inspiration and visualization purposes only. They are not architectural, structural, electrical, or contractor-grade plans, and must not be relied on as such.
AI output can vary between generations, even from the same input, and may occasionally be inaccurate, unrealistic, or not reflect real-world feasibility, cost, dimensions, or building/safety codes.
You are solely responsible for verifying the suitability, safety, and legality of any design idea before acting on it (e.g. before purchasing furniture, hiring a contractor, or making structural changes).
3. Your content
You retain ownership of the photos you submit. By submitting a photo, you confirm you have the right to use and share it, and you grant us the limited right to process it solely to generate your requested design, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for not submitting photos that are unlawful, contain another identifiable person without their consent, or that you do not have the right to use.
4. Generated output & intellectual property
Subject to these Terms and applicable law, you may use the AI-generated images the app produces for your own personal, non-commercial reference (e.g. planning your own room).
The app itself — including its design, code, and branding ("Home Lab AI") — is owned by EEB CONSULTANCY LLC and is not licensed to you beyond what's needed to use the app as intended.
Because AI-generated content's ownership and copyright status varies by jurisdiction and is an evolving area of law, we make no representation that generated images are free of third-party rights or are eligible for copyright protection, and we do not guarantee exclusivity of any generated result.
5. Subscriptions — Home Lab AI Premium
Home Lab AI offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions ("Home Lab AI Premium") for unlimited AI generations, sold and billed through Apple's App Store subscription system:

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in accordance with Apple's standard subscription terms.
Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the then-current price.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions, or via manage.apple.com/subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
Previously completed purchases can be restored using the "Restore Purchases" option in the app's Profile screen.
Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's own refund policies, not by us directly.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Home Lab AI to:
submit photos you do not have the right to use, or that depict another identifiable person without their consent;
attempt to abuse, circumvent, or excessively automate the generation service beyond normal personal use;
reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the app or backend service;
use the app or its output for any unlawful purpose.
We may apply reasonable rate limits and fair-use safeguards to keep the service available and sustainable for all users, as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Service availability
Home Lab AI depends on third-party services (including Google's Gemini API and Apple's platform) that are outside our control. We do not guarantee the app or generation service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service.
8. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
THE APP AND ANY GENERATED CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EEB CONSULTANCY LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY DECISION MADE OR ACTION TAKEN IN RELIANCE ON A GENERATED DESIGN. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS ANY LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made.
