EEB Consultancy LLC ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Translator: Voice - Camera ("the App") handles information when you use its translation, voice, camera, conversation, history, and related features.
1. Information We Collect
We do not require you to create an account and we do not operate an external backend that stores your translations, photos, conversations, or translation history.
The App does not include third-party advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.
2. Text Translation
Text you enter into the App may be processed using Apple's Translation technologies to provide translations. The App does not send your translation content to servers operated by EEB Consultancy LLC.
Translation processing and language availability may depend on Apple technologies, your device, downloaded language resources, and applicable Apple services.
3. Voice and Speech Recognition
The App may request access to your microphone when you use voice translation or conversation features.
Audio is used to recognize the words you speak and convert them into text for translation. Speech recognition is provided using Apple's Speech technologies. Depending on your device, language, settings, and Apple's implementation, speech recognition may be processed on your device or through Apple services.
EEB Consultancy LLC does not operate a server that receives or stores your microphone recordings.
4. Camera and Photos
The App may request access to your camera when you choose to take a photo for translation. You may also choose an existing photo using Apple's system photo picker.
Images selected or captured for translation are analyzed using Apple's Vision technologies to recognize visible text. Recognized text may then be translated using Apple's Translation technologies.
EEB Consultancy LLC does not upload or store your selected or captured photos on its own servers.
5. Face and Biometric Data
The App does not collect, detect, recognize, analyze, process, store, retain, or share face data or biometric data.
The App does not use facial recognition, facial landmark detection, face tracking, TrueDepth camera data, Face ID data, or any other facial or biometric identification technology.
Photos selected or captured for translation are processed only to recognize visible text using Apple's Vision technologies. The App does not analyze faces that may appear in those images.
Because the App does not collect or process face data or biometric data, no such data is retained, stored, transmitted, or shared with EEB Consultancy LLC or any third party.
6. Optical Character Recognition
The App uses Apple's Vision framework to detect and recognize text in images. Recognized text may be temporarily processed as needed to create translated text overlays on the selected image.
OCR results may not always be complete or accurate, particularly when images contain small, unclear, stylized, handwritten, or partially obscured text.
7. Automatic Language Detection
When Automatic language detection is selected, the App may analyze entered or recognized text using Apple's language-processing technologies to determine the likely source language.
8. Text-to-Speech
The App can read translated text aloud using Apple's speech synthesis technologies. This feature processes the text as needed to generate spoken output.
9. Translation History and Favorites
If translation history is enabled, translation records and favorites are stored locally on your device so that you can access them later.
You can delete individual history items or clear your translation history from within the App. You can also disable saving new translation history in Settings.
EEB Consultancy LLC does not maintain a cloud account or external database containing your translation history or favorites.
10. Third-Party Services
The App relies on Apple-provided technologies and system frameworks for functionality including translation, speech recognition, speech synthesis, camera and photo access, language processing, and optical character recognition.
Your use of Apple technologies and services may also be subject to Apple's privacy policies and terms. We encourage you to review Apple's privacy information for additional details about how Apple handles data associated with its services.
11. Advertising and Analytics
The current version of the App does not contain third-party advertising SDKs and does not use third-party analytics SDKs. We do not sell your personal information to advertisers.
12. Data Retention
Translation history and favorites saved by the App remain locally on your device until you delete them, clear the App's data, or uninstall the App, subject to normal device and backup behavior.
EEB Consultancy LLC does not maintain an external database of this locally stored content.
13. Data Security
We design the App to minimize unnecessary collection and external transmission of user content. However, no device, software, or electronic processing method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
14. Children's Privacy
The App is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App does not require an account and we do not operate a user-content backend, we do not maintain profiles of child users.
15. International Users
The App may be used in different countries and regions. Availability of languages and Apple-provided functionality may vary by device, operating system, language, or region.
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, applicable laws, or our practices change. When we make changes, we will update the effective date shown at the top of this page.
