1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how EEB Consultancy LLC ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the No Cap - Who Was Right? mobile application ("No Cap," "the App").

It describes what you submit to the App, what we send to our backend and to Google's Gemini API to generate a response, what we store and for how long, and the choices available to you.

By using No Cap, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Information You Submit

When you create a case in No Cap, you may enter:

No Cap's evidence field accepts plain text only. The App does not currently offer a way to attach photos, screenshots, or images as evidence.

3. How This Information Is Used and Where It Goes

The case information described above is sent from your device, over an encrypted HTTPS connection, to our own backend service, which we run on Cloudflare's Workers platform. Our backend is dedicated to No Cap and is not shared with any other application.

Our backend forwards the relevant case content — including the relationship, names, situation, evidence text, and any clarification questions and answers — to the Google Gemini API solely for the purpose of generating the AI-based analysis you requested.

For the "Help Me Respond" feature, relevant case information and previously generated verdict context may also be sent through our backend to the Google Gemini API to generate the suggested response you requested.

We do not send this content to Google for advertising purposes, and we do not send it to advertisers or data brokers.

We do not control, and cannot make representations about, how Google or Cloudflare internally process or retain data on their own systems. We do not claim any specific retention period for either provider. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy and Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for information about their respective data practices.

4. What Our Backend Stores — and Does Not Store

Our backend does not persist your case content. The situation you describe, your evidence text, the names you enter, clarification answers, and the AI-generated analysis pass through our backend only for the duration of the request needed to generate a response.

Our backend does not write this case content to a database, file, or other durable storage on our side.

5. Network and Abuse-Prevention Data

Cloudflare, as the infrastructure provider hosting our backend, may process request and network metadata, including IP addresses, as part of operating its network. This is inherent to how an HTTPS request reaches our backend and is outside the data our own application code stores.

Within our own backend code:

6. Information Stored on Your Device

By default, a case you create in No Cap exists only in the App's memory for that session and is not written to your device's persistent storage. If you leave the App or it is closed, an unsaved case is not retained.

If you choose to tap "Save Case," — an explicit, opt-in action — the full case, including the situation, evidence, names, AI-generated analysis, and any clarification answers, is written to a file in the App's private application data area on your device.

On a best-effort basis, we mark the saved-case file as excluded from device backups, such as iCloud or Finder backups. This is a privacy precaution, not an absolute guarantee, and may not succeed in every circumstance.

We do not sync saved cases to our own cloud service, and we do not have access to your locally saved case file.

You can delete an individual saved case from the History tab. Deleting a saved case removes that case from the App's local saved-case storage.

7. Sharing a Verdict

Sharing is optional and occurs only when you choose to use the App's sharing feature.

For a free Quick Verdict, the shared text is limited to the free result information available to you, such as the verdict result, rightness percentages, and a short summary.

For users with access to the full premium verdict, the shared text may also include additional verdict content available through the premium experience.

No Cap deliberately excludes the original situation narrative, raw evidence, clarification questions and answers, and internal case or backend identifiers from the generated share text.

The App opens Apple's native share sheet. Nothing is sent to a destination unless you choose where to share it. No Cap does not automatically publish or share your verdict in the background.

8. Accounts and Sign-In

No Cap does not require or offer account creation or sign-in. We do not collect your email address, password, or other account credentials in connection with using the App itself.

We may receive your email address if you voluntarily contact our support email address.

9. Advertising, Analytics, and Tracking

No Cap does not use:

We also do not collect your location, access your contacts, or register a push-notification token as part of the current App.

If these practices change in a future version, we will update this Privacy Policy and any applicable App Store privacy disclosures and obtain consent where required.

10. Subscriptions and Payment

No Cap offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system using StoreKit.

When you subscribe, Apple handles the transaction. We do not receive, process, or store your payment card number, billing address, or other payment credentials.

The App receives information from Apple's systems necessary to determine whether a valid subscription entitlement exists and uses that information to unlock premium features.

11. What You Should Avoid Submitting

No Cap is designed to help you reason through everyday interpersonal disputes. Please avoid entering more sensitive personal information than is necessary to describe your situation.

For example, avoid including Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, government identification numbers, detailed health or medical records, or similarly sensitive data unless it is genuinely necessary to describe your dispute.

12. AI-Generated Content — Accuracy Limitations

No Cap's analysis, suggested responses, and other AI-generated content are produced using Google's Gemini based on information you provide.

AI-generated output can be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or reflect an incorrect understanding of your situation.

The output is provided for general informational purposes and should not be relied upon as professional legal, medical, psychological, financial, or other professional advice.

You should independently evaluate the output and consult a qualified professional when your circumstances require professional guidance.

13. Children's Privacy

No Cap is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under the age required by applicable law in their jurisdiction.

If you believe a child has provided us with information in a manner that raises privacy concerns, please contact us using the information below.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the App, our services, or applicable requirements evolve.

If we make changes, we will update the effective date on this page and provide additional notice where appropriate.
