This Privacy Policy explains how Flashlight: Strobe Light ("the App"), provided by EEB Consultancy LLC ("we", "us", or "our"), handles information when you use the App.
Flashlight: Strobe Light is designed to operate on your device. We do not operate a backend service for the App, and you do not need to create an account or sign in to use the App.
We do not collect personal data through the App, track you across apps or websites, serve third-party advertising, build advertising profiles, or sell your personal information.
2. Information We Collect
We do not collect personal information or other user data through the App.
The App may access certain device capabilities and sensor information when necessary to provide features that you choose to use. As described below, this information is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to us.
3. Microphone Access
The App may request access to your device's microphone when you use sound-reactive features, such as Party mode.
Microphone input is used in real time to analyze audio characteristics such as rhythm, bass energy, and beat-related changes so that the light can react to nearby sound.
This audio processing occurs locally on your device. The App does not record, save, upload, or transmit your microphone audio to us or to third parties.
You can deny or revoke microphone permission through iOS Settings. Sound-reactive features may not function without microphone access.
4. Motion and Sensor Data
Certain features may use motion information available from device sensors, including accelerometer or related motion data.
This information may be used for features such as motion-reactive lighting, activity-related behavior, and detecting changes in movement for supported cycling or running features.
Motion and sensor information is processed locally on your device. The App does not upload, transmit, or store this information on our servers.
5. Camera Flashlight and Device Controls
The App uses supported iOS device capabilities to control the device torch for flashlight, strobe, signaling, and related lighting features.
The App may also temporarily adjust supported device states, such as screen brightness or the system idle timer, while certain lighting modes are active.
These functions are used only to provide the requested App experience and are not used to collect personal information.
6. Analytics, Advertising and Tracking
The App does not include third-party advertising SDKs and does not display third-party advertisements.
We do not use third-party analytics, attribution, or tracking SDKs in the App.
We do not use the App to track your activity across apps or websites owned by other companies, and we do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA) for tracking.
We do not sell or rent personal information collected through the App.
7. Accounts
Flashlight: Strobe Light does not require you to create a user account or sign in to use the App.
8. Local Storage
The App may store preferences and settings locally on your device so that your selected options can be remembered between sessions.
These locally stored settings are used to operate and personalize the App on your device. We do not receive these settings through a developer-operated server.
9. Data Sharing
Because the App does not collect personal data, we do not sell, rent, or share personal data collected through the App with advertisers, data brokers, analytics providers, or other third parties.
Microphone audio, motion sensor information, and locally stored App preferences are not transmitted to us.
10. Third-Party Services and External Links
The App may provide links to external pages, such as this Privacy Policy or the Terms of Use. When you choose to open an external link, it may be opened by your device's web browser.
Your use of external websites and Apple services is subject to the privacy practices and terms of the applicable service provider. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites or services.
11. Children's Privacy
The App is not designed to collect personal information from children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us outside the App, please contact us so that we can review the request.
12. Your Choices
You control whether the App may access permissions such as the microphone through the permission controls provided by iOS.
You may review or change applicable permissions at any time in your device's Settings.
13. Security
We design the App to minimize unnecessary collection and transmission of information. Features described in this policy that use microphone or motion information perform their relevant processing locally on your device.
While no software or device environment can be guaranteed to be completely secure, keeping these operations on-device reduces unnecessary transmission and exposure of information.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if the App, applicable laws, or our privacy practices change.
If we introduce features in the future that change how data is handled, we will update this Privacy Policy as appropriate.
When we update this policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date shown at the top of this page.
